Skogskyrkogarden is an early-20th century cemetery known for its landscape and architectural design. The cemetery was built between 1917 and 1920 by the architects Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz. They got the job of designing a new cemetery for Stockholm after an international competition was held.
